Abstract

ABSTRACT Various models of transmission of KHV (through cohabitation, infection through food, water, and maintenance) in koi (Cyprinus carpio koi) shows that the rapid transmission occurs and koi fish will die all the different time periods between the various models of transmission. To model transmission through cohabitation deaths began to occur on day 3, the transmission through infected feed KHV on day 6, the transmission through the water maintaining day-to-2. Koi fish that died showed symptoms similar to positive control was marked by foul on the gills and then will soon die. Of the various models are a fast transmit KHV is transmitted through the water faster maintenance of the fish died on day-2 so that the transmission model is similar to the natural transmission (natural) because water is a fast medium for viral proliferation and spread of KHV . Kata kunci : Koi Herpes Virus, Cyprinus carpio koi, penyakit pada koi, metode deteksi KHV, cara penularan KHV.
