Abstract

There are many ways to reduce the efficient use of commercial feed, one of them by adding petrofish probiotics. This probiotic is a product of many factories found in nearby fishery shops. Technically, this probiotic can enrich beneficial microflora in water to reduce harmful bacteria or pathogens, improve water fertility, increase growth rate and reduce mortality rate in fish / shrimp. This study aims to determine the effect of the addition of petrofish probiotics on commercial feed to the absolute weight growth of tilapia srikandi seeds in the phase of nursery II. This study used a complete randomized design with 5 treatments and 5 replications. Treatment A (dose 5 ml / kg), B (dose 10 ml / kg), C (dose 15 ml / kg), D (dose 20 ml / kg) and E (25 ml / kg dose). Using animal test seeds of tilapia srikandi in the phase of nursery II with an average weight of 5 grams / tail. Number of stocking stocking 15 tail / 5 liter / tub. Frequency of feeding 3 times daily with a dose of 10% by weight of biomass. The results showed that C treatment yielded the highest absolute weight with an average of 1.94 grams / tail. Keywords: petrofish probiotics, commercial feed, tilapia seeds seedlings in phase II nursery and absolute weight growth.
