Abstract

Since the enactment of the Law on Regional Autonomy of local government continue to explore and develop the economic potential existing in its territory. Similarly Lamandau County Government, as a district that is still relatively new, to catch up with other districts continue to accelerate and drive economic development in the region. Development of Economic Growth Centres is one alternative breakthrough to propel and spur development in order to improve the welfare of the community. With the development of centers of economic growth will be to encourage economic development in surrounding areas. Research Development of Growth Centres in the District Lamandau committed with intent to know the sub-districts and villages that potential to be developed as centers of economic growth in the District Lamandau. Based on the analysis, note that from 8 districts in District Lamandau, there are 5 districts with the potential to be developed as a Center for Economic Growth. The five districts are District Bulik (based in the village or the village of Nanga Bulik Kujan), District Lamandau (centered in the Village Penopa), District Delang (based in the village Kudangan), District Belantikan Kingdom (based in the village of Bayat), and District Sematu Jaya (centered in the village of Purworejo).
