Abstract
The problems in this research are to know how are the representations and the meanings of deconstruction toward Balinese social stratification system in literary works of Oka Rusmini. The approach is deconstruction, with qualitative method. The source of the data is Tarian Bumi. The meanings are there are efforts of criticism of Balinese social stratification system. The effort will be easier and faster if it is done by Balinese people that have power, wealth and education. Process of deconstruction Balinese social stratification system is evolutive and not destructive, because the old construction is in progress.
