Abstract
Student learning outcomes are strongly influenced by the activity of students in the class. Learning models that prioritize student activity are cooperative types of Group Investigation and Make A Match types. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in student mathematics learning outcomes in the topic of two-variable linear equation material using the cooperative learning model Group Investigation type and Make A Match type in class X SMK 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya. The approach used is quantitative, the type of experimental research with static group pre-post research design. The population in this study were all students of class X SMK 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya even semester 2017/2018 school year and the sample used there were two classes. The experimental class I is the RPL 2 and the experimental class II is the RPL 3. The results of the study show that there are differences in student mathematics learning outcomes between cooperative learning models investigation group type and make a match type. The learning outcomes using Group Investigation type learning have an average value of 88.961 better than using make a match learning with an average value of 77.27.
