Abstract
The lectur er as the com muni cator has the im port ant role in influen cing th e student’s lea rnin g attitude. All lecturers, of course, hope to make their students have positive attitude in learning activities. The objective of the research is to find out how far th e lecturer ’s ph ysical att racti veness influen ces the student’s learnin g a tt it ude on cognit ive, aff e cti ve, and conati ve dimensions. On cognitive dimension, the t-count for physical attractiveness variable (X) = 2.435 is greater than t-table = 1.999, which implies that Ha is accepted at a significance level of 5%. It can be said that partially physical attractiveness variable (X) has significant effect on students' learning attitude variable on cognitive dimension (Y1). On afective dimension, the t-count for physical attractiveness variable (X) = 3.130 is greater than t-table = 1.999, which implies that Ha is accepted at a significance level of 5%. It can be said that partially physical attractiveness variable (X) has significant effect on students' learning attitude variable on affective dimension (Y2). On conative dimension, the t-count for physical attractiveness variable (X) = 0.514 is smaller than t-table = 1.999, which implies that Ho accepted at a significance level of 5%. It can be said that partially physical attractiveness variable (X) does not have a significant effect on students' learning attitude variable on conative dimension (Y3).
