Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explore the effectiveness of AIR and Course Review Horay Learning Models in promoting mathematics concepts for high school students. This research is motivated by the low levels of mathematics concepts knowledge that make the students become low motivates to study mathematics. This research was conducted using the experimental and descriptive methods with Randomized Control Group Only Design. The data about understanding of mathematical concepts distributed normal and homogeneous hence to test the hypothesis can be done with equality test two average or t test. From t calculation result t table obtained at signification level α = 5% with dk 64 = 2.00, and tcount = 2,133, because, t count > t table, then null hypothesis rejected. Thus means the mean score of understanding the mathematical concepts for the AIR-Course Review Horay class and the average score of understanding of mathematical concepts for a conventional class differ significantly. The data analysis shows result that there are increased mathematics concepts knowledge in studying mathematics after practicing AIR and Course Review Horay learning models.
