Abstract

Abstract Limited land is a cause way nowdays construction projects tend to build buildings vertically. As for instance is the construction of the 4 floors parking lot of Spazio Tower 2 which uses steel structures. However, that development is considered as not optimal yet, so it is necessary to re-plan the selection of IWFsteel profiles in the portal structure (beams and columns) that is able to withstand the loads. In this optimization, the calculation refers to the Structural Steel Buildings Sfesification (SNI1729:2015), and the loading refers to the Planning Guidelines of Houses and Buildings Loading (PPURG 1987), and the earthquake loading refers to the Planning Standards of Earthquake Resilience Building Structure (SNI 1726-2002) by using 2D modelings in structural analysis using SAP200. Based on the result of the structural analysis and re-planning a new profil on the construction structure of the 4 floors parking lot, thr optimal IWF profile for elongted beam components is 400 x 200 x 7 x 11, transverse beam components using IWF is 350 x 175 x 6 x 9, and in the columns both longitudinal and transverse using IWF is 350 x 350 x 10 x 16. With the percentage of reduction in dimensions of 33% from thr exsisting, 45,1% st nominal factor moments and 2,1% at nominal compressive strength compared to exsisting condition.
